I want it, I will use it,

Well, this is about Mothers idea to get a Hoveround.



She watched so many commercials for so many years. I think she just liked the

Grand Canon picture. It was, maybe 5 years that she would say she wanted one.



You know what they say if you keep asking you will receive. I asked if she was sure and

even got someone to bring one out to see if she could run it. She liked it and asked if it could

recline and the man said yes it will. I called the Doctor and got all of the papers that he needed

to fill out. We Got Her Hoveround!!!!



She used it maybe 5 times.......likes her manual wheelchair better, it really reclines, and I have it well padded. The hoveround reclines 2 in. at the most. Mom will use it for maybe 5 to 15 minutes at the most. She say's it is not comfortable. I called and was told that it was the best seat they had and we have to break it in.



We will see, We have had it 3 years now and my son uses it more, than Mother. I will sit in it, and after a while I can see why Mom really wants to get out of it.
For one thing Mom has no padding.... I can not put much padding in the chair or she would fall out of it. They say it is a seat for a big rig and those seats have to be comfortable. Ha Ha
I will brake it in for Mom and she might get to use it more later on.

Oh well we live and learn. So many other people I have talked to like their scooters and hoverounds. We will see if she likes it better when she is 90, (7 years to brake it in).

Next time I will tell you about the walk in bath tub with heat and jets.
