Hello
It is a new week and things are going great. Mom is happy today, My sister came over and I
went to the store and picked up some steamers( clams) Oh baby was mom Grinning from
ear to ear. She has always loved to eat and when she does now That makes everyone glad. Mom has gained weight and is now 84 pounds. She has been eating pastrami grinders from
Subway too. Oh she would make a wonderful comercial.
I know that not all out there will ever get to really understand how wonderful it is to take care of someone that you love and want to be around. I guess that this seems to be my life.

I started by taking care of my grandfather (on my mom's side) then I went to Germany with my husband and he was in a very bad accident. He was in a coma and the doctors gave him a 5% chance of living if he did not get pneumonia. Well he did and it dropped to 2%.
The Army told me to leave with my children and they would take care of him.
I did not leave and he survived with some brain damage. No he is not the same man I married 27 years ago, but he is my husband and in sickness and in health. We do love each other. And we are going to stick it out.

Yes Mom has issues with him and the two are just so cute together sometimes and other times they are just at each other. They both want my attention. I feel like stretch Armstrong, for thous of you who can remember way back then.

Mom is calling and I have to go. Just remember. We have to take the good with the bad.
We will be stronger if we can endure it. Persevere.
